Cleaning the dashboard of a vehicle

The interior of your car can be difficult to maintain; between you, your kids, and anyone else who gets a ride from you, wear and tear on the interior of your vehicle is constant. Drinks get spilled, burn holes appear, rips and tears happen. Unlike the rest of your car, the interior isn’t made of metal, so it requires special treatment to keep it in good condition.

air filter being added the engine

Air filters are an important part of vehicle maintenance. What many people don’t realize is you actually have two filters; one for your engine and a cabin filter to filter the air coming into your car. Both of them function the same way but have entirely different purposes. They are often neglected, particularly the cabin filter, and yours may need to be changed right now. This guide, provided by The Auto Clinic in El Paso, highlights the importance of filters, symptoms of an overused one, and how to maintain them.

very old rusty car

Who created the world’s first car is actually a matter of debate; since the invention of the engine, people had been installing them on horse carriages to make them self-propelled. Even when automobiles specifically designed for engines came around, they were hardly recognizable as a car by today’s standards. However, the first patented automobile, a vehicle specifically designed to be propelled by an engine, was built by Karl Benz and completed in 1885.

Customer Review
Our 2010 Chevy Camaro had a lift valve fail. This required a full engine replacement. It was taken to 2 Chevrolet dealership. One could not even run diagnostic for 2 to 3 months. The other one had diagnostic check done but not sure of the issue. Kody at The Auto Clinic was able tell by hearing the vehicle want was wrong with it. He and the team are straight forward on the cost and the reasoning for what needs to be completed on our vehicle. When the engine was taken out, the car had through look over to catch any more issues. The Auto Clinic is a rare shop in a era where everything has to have a diagnostic check. A true mechanic that has worked on vehicles is able to tell by listening instead of a huge fee. I recommend anyone with old or newer vehicles to go through this shop. They save you money and headaches.
